To upload your pictures go to http://www.McGillOutdoorsClub.ca/album/
Click on the Login link on the uppear-right corner.
The Username is moc
The Password is the first letters of "i want to upload my photos", all lower case.
Do not use the recover password link.
Go to the album called "Upload your photos HERE"
If there is already a sub-album for the event you want to upload photos for, click it, else follow these steps to create one:
Click on the Add Album link |
Click on the Add Items link
Select the Upload Applet tab.
It is always a good idea to give your pictures a meaningful name. If you have a digital camera, you can use a program like Exifier to rename them to the date/time they were taken. Also, make sure the date/time in your camera are correct.
Add pictures by clicking on the Add Pictures... button. Browse to the folder on your computer containing the photos and select the ones you want to upload.
To select multiple files/folders hold down the Ctrl button on your keyboard.
To select a range, hold down Shift. Click Add when you are done.
You can select more photos from another folder by clicking Add Pictures again.
You do not need to resize the photos before uploading them, the program will do it on the fly when displaying them, but will also give the option to see the original, in case someone wants to see the details, or print it out.
Click the Upload button. A windows will open to show the upload progress.
You can edit the captions, titles and keywords on your photos by clicking on the title of the album on the top, and then Edit Captions on the left.
When you are done uploading, send me an e-mail so i will transfer them to the main gallery.
Please do not change the password or the email address on the account.
